Ate dinner at Canton Dim Sum & Seafood Restaurant on Folsom St. in SF. There was a wedding reception going on upstairs. We saw the blown up wedding picture posted in their lobby. The bride and groom were in their wedding clothes. Did they have the picture quickly made after the wedding or did they dress up in their wedding clothes days before the wedding to take the picture? I'm curious. Anyhows, the food is sooo good and Michael and I over ordered food as usual but its all good. I especially liked the Sesame Balls and the Duck. I want more!
Watched another Cirque show with Michael after dinner. It's called Ovo and it was at the AT&T Park parking lot in San Francisco. It was a really good show! As usual, I don't think I understood the storyline but that's up to us to interpret, right? It was bright and full of life. It wasn't sexual like Zumanity but more about the creation of life...all told through a bug's eyes. Wish I could explain it better. The music was good. There was the intro riff from Beethoven's 5th symphony and bits of latin beat. Michael bought our tickets and he wanted the cheaper seating which ended up with us sitting with a big pole blocking our view for small parts of the show. Silly boy. He procrastinated with buying tickets so we could have gotten better seats and still have paid the cheaper price if he had purchased the tickets sooner. But no complaints from me! I enjoyed the show immensely. Didn't buy a program this time because I'll most likely lose it like I did the other ones. Bought a $20 soundtrack of Quidam when I could have gotten it for $10 off itunes. Darn. Also got the DVD for Alegria cuz I like that show the best so far even though I've only watched it on DVD. M-bear likes it too.
After the show, we were craving dessert but couldn't decide on where to go. Michael wanted Steps of Rome but its so crowded in there!!! I used my handy dandy yelp app on my iphone to look up possible places we could go for drinks and dessert and found The Cosmopolitan. They weren't serving food at that hour but the bar was still open so we sat down and started ordering drinks. My three drinks for the night: 1) Appletini with Grey Goose vodka. I think the grey goose makes a difference in martini's. 2) Cosmopolitan. I like the citrusy taste. 3) a Gin basil gimlet. It was yummy although that basil did give it an herby thai taste.
And then!!!!! Since we didn't eat anything at the bar, it was off to Daimo for some soup. Thank goodness that place closes at 3am. I couldn't finish my noodles so I gave it to Michael. I can usually eat a lot but I was full to the top of my neck. Met one of Michael's friends who's family should know my family since our father's are part of the same retired coast guard association. I never met the dude before though.
Fun evening, good times. Can't wait till next time!

Worked noc shift with Amber and Julieta. I was following Julieta around and it was an okay shift. I like noc shift because it's quieter and you can get stuff done. There's lots to learn but once I find my rhythm I think it'll be fine. Not planning on stressing. Tonight is the 3rd day of orientation and I'll be with Amber. Cool.

Is it the perfume I'm wearing? Isbitntoo strong? I'm in a bad mood. It was transferred to me and I don't have the energy to change the mood. Not when my head hurts. Just irritated.
